Austin Regional Clinic: ARC Sendero Springs

I had a very disappointing experience at ARC Sendero Springs. I arrived on time for my scheduled appointment and waited for about 20 minutes before the receptionist informed me that I would have to reschedule. I was told that the provider (Dr. Sarat Burri, MD) was getting ready to go to lunch and was seeing telehealth patients instead of honoring my in-person appointment. This was extremely unprofessional and a complete disregard for my time. If the provider was unavailable, I should have been notified before I arrived or at least before waiting 20 minutes in the lobby. The way the situation was handled felt dismissive and unfriendly, and there was no genuine apology or effort to make things right. Patients arrange their schedules around appointments, often taking time off work or traveling to be there. I expected much better communication and respect. Unfortunately, this experience has left a very poor impression, and I will not be returning or recommending this location to others.

Overall, my experience was positive. I especially appreciated the nurses, who were friendly, asked questions with a smile, and made me feel welcomed and comfortable throughout my visit. The doctor was professional, attentive, and respectful. She listened carefully to my concerns and treated me very well. I felt heard and well cared for during my appointment. However, my initial interaction at the front desk was not as welcoming. I was immediately asked for my name in a serious tone, without a smile or friendly greeting. While the interaction was professional, it felt somewhat cold and uninviting compared to the warm and welcoming care I received from the nurses and the doctor.

Dr. Kaur is great. Very attentive and knowledgeable. She spent time going over my medical issues with me and set a plan of action to, if possible, resolve them. The staff at the RoundRock ARC are excellent. They set me up with an appointment the next day when no other office could or would and made sure I was comfortable during the appointment. With this crazy For Profit Healthcare System we have these days, you typically don't see this level of service any more.

Thank you very much doctor Kaur and nurse Joe!!! I walked in to the clinic with a lot of discomfort and pain and walked out of the clinic , a happy soul. I'm very thankful for the time you took to listen and answer my questions. Nurse Joe did the flushing of my ears as gentle as possible and was super helpful and kind!!! The front office staff and the person who gave me the appointment on the phone were very polite and respectful!!! Thank you very much to all the staff and doctors in ARC Sendero Springs. I have had good experiences there every single time.

Even though I have to drive through 35 traffic to get there, it’s worth it. Dr. Karathra was recommended after my doctor left ARC and she was who I saw postpartum with my first child and I was suffering postpartum depression. My gynecologist just thought I had baby blues but it was more serious than that. I always feel very comfortable talking to Dr. Karathra and she actually listens to me as a patient so I’m so glad she is now my physician. I will still drive through traffic to see her haha. She is that nice and great! Thank you!
